The new Magic Mouse is a mighty fine bit of kit. Oddly enough, despite only having a couple of gestures enabled, the Magic Mouse is full multi touch enabled.
MagicPrefs enables tons of new features, my favourite being able to assign the apple logo as a button!

Carbon Copy Cloner: Clone, Copy and Backup your data…..tasty!
Carbon Copy Cloner has been around for quite some time now but that has not diminished quite how useful this application can be. Its especially useful for making a completely cloned copy of drive and has got me out of trouble many a time. In its latest iteration it has a simplified interface and really feels like a premium application rather than the freeware that it has always been!

We have all been wowed by the success of the app store for the iPhone so it was only a matter of time before someone came up with something for mac software.
Bodega lists some of the best apps available for macs, whilst not quite delivering the app store experience (you have to visit the individual sites to purchase) it certainly is easy to use and attractive.

Dictionary Cleaner: Remove Added Dictionary Words in Leopard
Hmmmmm….. unusually I have been unable to find a way to remove learned words in the Mac OSX dictionary on Leopard.
Luckily for me there is a free application that adds a new system preference pane to system preferences and allows you to add and delete words en masse…..which is nice.

The Mac OSX Colour picker is simple and beautifully integrated across Mac applications. Hex color opens the colour picker as a stand alone application so you can save colours without having to open an iLife or iWork application first. Of course all of the colours you save etc will be avialable across apps.
iPhone Backup Extractor – open and use files from an iPhone/iPod backup file…
Does exactly what it says, opens up an iPhone/iPod backup package and gives you OSX Compatible and readable files.
