With the worlds creepy net authorities breathing down our necks and online security more and more of worry there are ways of making sure that your presence online is not traced back to you. Erm….sorry I have been away…but I’m back!
So it has been a six month hiatus. My only excuse is that I have been uber busy and have not had the money to keep running BMB. I renewed my hosting and domain name but will not be able to keep up the payments in perpetuity and thats where you come in.
Basically if you need hosting or know anyone else who does, I have secured an amazing deal from justhost. Just click on the banner in the sidebar to the left to see whats on offer at the moment. Everything is unlimited and amazingly priced but more importantly their support is second to none which makes them ideal to those of you who have never had their own host before.
Okay, marketing over, I am now back on it big time and will be flooding more cool apps and mac things your way, as always, mostly free, but always cool.

BigMacBlog.com has had a makeover – Yes I have finally learnt how to truly use Wordpress to its potential. BigMacBlog is now privately hosted which should mean more content, less restriction etc. So please update your subscriptions as the old site is now no longer active.

First off, apologies for the distinct lack of posts over the past week or so. I have been quite busy!
The good news is, however, that I am planning on making bigmacblog.com less of a hobby and more of a serious past time, in other words investing a whole lot more time in it.

Dasboot – Your fixit kit for macs…
Dasboot is a kit of tools that enables you to install a repair and diagnose kit on an iPod or a USB memory stick so you will always have to hand a way to see what on Earth is going on with your flu ridden mac…
One caveat is that you do need to own one of the mac diagnostics softwares out there to install the boot disc but it supports most of them…
