Dropzone: The Swiss Army Knife of Drag and Drop

Its only when using a PC I realise how significant drag and drop functionality is on a mac and how it is mostly intuitive. However there are times when I wish things could be simpler. Step in Dropzone.
Basically Dropzone lives in your dock and you set up various locations and send-to actions like uploading to Flickr or an FTP Server. Then it simply awaits your dragging and dropping escapades!

We have all been wowed by the success of the app store for the iPhone so it was only a matter of time before someone came up with something for mac software.
Bodega lists some of the best apps available for macs, whilst not quite delivering the app store experience (you have to visit the individual sites to purchase) it certainly is easy to use and attractive.

Sapiens – Like an app launcher…but different…


Sapiens is Waaaaaaay cool! Using a circle gesture with the mouse you can call up a kind of circular dock which you can arrange you application on. Yes its flashy. But hey what mac isn’t?
