Although not as sophisticated as applications such as Roxio’s Toast, Burn is one simple and useful application for making various format discs that is completely free. Isn’t that lovely?

Carbon Copy Cloner: Clone, Copy and Backup your data…..tasty!

1015_carboncopy_622.jpg

Carbon Copy Cloner has been around for quite some time now but that has not diminished quite how useful this application can be. Its especially useful for making a completely cloned copy of drive and has got me out of trouble many a time. In its latest iteration it has a simplified interface and really feels like a premium application rather than the freeware that it has always been!

Enjoy.

Well if your one of those people that cannot let go of a little bit of control, time machine editor is for you. it basically enables you to specify when backups happen.

Eversave – Never lose a document again!

picture-41

Many a time have I worked on a document, saved it, only to find later on that I wanted a previous version….

Ta Da!… along comes eversave to literally ’save’ the day! (terrible I know)

Eversave can be set to save documents at set intervals from nearly any application, it gets added to your menu-bar so you can quickly change its settings etc.

And as with most of my finds…..its FREE!
