I have posted links to tutorials in the past on how to achieve the tilt shift lens effect on images, making your photos look like snaps of model villages. Well forget that as tiltshiftmaker.com does it for you.

You just upload your image and use the simple controls to make your own. Very easy. Very effective.

P.s. There is also an iPhone application that you can use which is pretty cool. You can get that here.

This is a really fun

This is a really fun and nostalgic little app.

Poladroid sits on your desktop and whatever you drag onto it will be magically transformed into a wonderful polaroid image. You can also save the images at any stage of development (which you can speed up by giving it a shake!).

Some of my attempts are below!

FluidTunes….perhaps the most pointless iTunes

FluidTunes….perhaps the most pointless iTunes application but also perhaps one of the most interesting and fun.

Fluid tunes is a bit like the eyetoy games on Playstation in that it detects your movement through the isight on your mac and allows you to flick through iTunes coverflow and select song, its very basic, but certainly worth a look. This could be the start of something good.

Just came across this batter

Just came across this batter pack that claims to add an extra 20 hours to your phoning pleasure. Ther are lots of battery extenders out there for those peeps that cant get enough of the sexy gorgeous screen of the iPhone on full brightness!….this differs, however, because it also charges many other devices. Not sure how good it is as I haven’t tried one but at £38 it seems pretty reasonable and unlike many of the others it hasn’t been thwacked with the ugly stick.

This guys has come up with a very quick and nifty way of making photographs look like they are of tiny model villages! – its very quick and easy and requires photoshop!. Christoper Phin did a really good job of making this tutorial really understandable!

A fun one for anyone to try!
