Hab.la – Add live chat to your website nice and easy…
This is nice!
Hab.la is a tiny piece of code that you can paste into your iweb website (or others) that will unlock the ability to include a live chat panel (that you can customise) on your page. The best part is that it is multi-protocol which means it works with ichat, googletalk, and loads more…….
So you can be logged in on adium and somebody visiting your website can see your online and send you a message (this is done anonymously so they will not know your chat details and username etc..) and when you respond in your favourite client (adium suggested but supported by ichat also) a live chat session is initiated…..
It sounds a lot trickier than it is but the Hab.la have included a little file to automatically install the account into your adium or ichat client.

Great Website Tutorials – Learn HTML and many others…
I never thought I would be saying this, but I actually found myself excited about this website…….its very dour and plain exterior doesn’t reflect its eternal usefullness. Now I dont know much about anything web designery, and that means all of my websites are made in iWeb (which I simply love by the way). Now normally an iWeb website requires no coding knowledge, but to leverage all the funky extras that I have talked about over the past three months, some HTML is very helpful.
This website has tutorials for nearly every web technology. Its arranged in small sections so you can head straight for what floats your boat.

Vidnik – Upload straight from iSight to YouTube…
This one is a neat little app that allows you to record and upload straightaway to you your youtube account, very useful for those habitual Vloggers out there…
iTweak – Add extras to iWeb such as favicon and google search…
I just stumbled across iTweak, a free application that gives you the chance to add favicons, hit counters, google site search fields and more to your lowly iWeb website.
It seems pretty simple to use and gives iWeb some pretty nifty functionality. Guess well have to wait to see if any of this will be included in the next iteration of iWeb but until then, check it out.
Wix – Embed widgets, gadgets, gizmos and thingameebobs on your site.
Apologies to all those who I have preached the usefullness of wix to but here I go again.
Wix has enabled me to do things with my website that I would never have thought possible without coding knowledge and expensive software. It really does allow a complete novice the ability to create content, whether its an mp3 player, a book with pages that can be turned or a bopping Obama doll (dont ask).
I cant praise it enough and, athough at times geared towards the younger user, can be really useful for adding those finishing touches to your websites.
iWeb iFrames – Embed other websites on your iWeb Pages…
This rocks…..some spriteful monkey out there on MacOSXhints.com has published a way of getting websites displayed within your iWeb website….
