Carbon Copy Cloner: Clone, Copy and Backup your data…..tasty!
Carbon Copy Cloner has been around for quite some time now but that has not diminished quite how useful this application can be. Its especially useful for making a completely cloned copy of drive and has got me out of trouble many a time. In its latest iteration it has a simplified interface and really feels like a premium application rather than the freeware that it has always been!

BigMacBlog.com has had a makeover – Yes I have finally learnt how to truly use Wordpress to its potential. BigMacBlog is now privately hosted which should mean more content, less restriction etc. So please update your subscriptions as the old site is now no longer active.

Appfresh – The updater for everything else…
Appfresh is one of those applications that you don’t know you need until you have given it a spin. Mac OSX has a wonderful software update feature built in but this will only update official Mac software. Appfresh is able to search for and download updates for ALL of the software on your machine. An added nice touch is the ability to link your apps with IUSETHIS a great website for sharing which software you use and why and seeing other peoples software habits.
